Hal Crocker believes in teamwork. His company, Crocker Construction Company,
Inc., operates on a team build philosophy, in which everyone - including the
client - is part of the team. He also believes that teamwork will help make the
Jackson area a better place to live, work, and play. Crocker Construction,
founded in 1950 by Hal's father, Morris Crocker, has deep roots in the
Jackson-Madison County community. Active as a contractor and developer, Morris
focused primarily on multi-residential housing, both public and private. One
year after his father's retirement, in 1985, Hal Crocker reopened Crocker
Construction with a new emphasis on commercial and industrial construction,
negotiating the majority of his work with businesses that rank personal service
and quality as their highest priority. The company has been rewarded for its
efforts with steady growth in new commercial construction, restoration projects,
and maintenance of industrial properties.
