EAST JACKSON CHURCH OF CHRIST

The 2003 tornado caused $2.3 million dollars of damage to the East Jackson Church of Christ. Crocker Construction negotiated a settlement with the insurance agency and set about to “team build” the 30,000 square feet church. The project went from the concept and design stage to construction very quickly. Within 60 days the congregation was able to worship in the repaired and enlarged family life center. Ten months later, the new church and sanctuary with seating for 950 people was completely rebuilt. Chris Rice, who is a senior project manager, has been the team leader for three team build church projects over the last few years. This is another example of how Crocker Construction and the “team build” strategy can meet the goals of each client.
